February KALs & CAL
** What is a KAL or CAL?? **
KALs (knit-alongs) and CALs (crochet-alongs) are free project-based groups that occur on certain days throughout the month. They are very informal, meaning that you may start at any time throughout the month. In addition, you can work at your own pace. We offer these knit-alongs to bring the knitting community together and help knitters to expand their skill set. We highly encourage participatory individuals to purchase materials at Knit One so that can support our instructors and keep these events free of charge.

What we’re working on…
Assana Wrap (Kylen):
I am leading February’s Assana Wrap KAL and while I tried my best to wait until February, I failed! I was so excited to start this pattern out of the beautiful Baah La Jolla. My colors are Over the Moon, Slate, & Bronze and I love how it’s turning out so far! I chose all solids but many people have chosen a speckled or variegated yarn to throw into the stripes! It’s the perfect balance of relaxing knitting (with multiple sections of garter stitch) and interesting knitting (with the lace sections). If this doesn’t convince you to join my KAL, I don’t know what will. 🙂
