Although Wendy learned to knit as a young girl, rounding out numerous other artistic interests, knitting didn’t become a passion until a decade ago. Those fuzzy novelty scarves that everyone was creating made her realize how much yarn and knitting had changed, so she picked up the needles again and hasn’t put them down since! Wendy joined the staff of Knit One in 2009 and loves being able to share her passion and expertise with her students. Her favorite thing to knit? Sweaters, usually in shades of blue or gray, with a real emphasis on fit. Wendy is the mother of two adult children and the owner of a high-energy shelter dog who enjoys chewing wooden needles and chasing balls of yarn on occasion.
